How buying works
- Choose a plan. “Order” opens your email app with the plan written out, addressed to hello@allowances.dev. If nothing opens, the page shows the address and the text to copy.
- We reply with an invoice that says how to pay.
- Once the invoice is paid, you get a download link by email: the CSV files, the source files and the README, in one zip.
The license in plain words
- Who: your organization, its employees, and contractors working for it on its behalf.
- Use: inside your own work and products. You may show single amounts, or calculations based on them, to your own customers inside your products and reports.
- Analyses: you may publish analyses, charts, and aggregated or derived figures.
- Not allowed: selling, licensing, sharing or publishing the dataset, or a substantial part of it, as data outside your organization; building a competing dataset or data product from it.
- Term: the license to a delivered release does not expire. New releases come with the yearly updates add-on.
- Errors: to report an amount you believe is wrong, write to hello@allowances.dev with the authority and the page. We check it against the source document. If the error is confirmed and you reported it within 30 days of delivery, you get a corrected file. Buyers of yearly updates also get corrections in every new release.
